• William Wallace is a high elevation American Rocky Mountain bred and born black Scottish Highland bull. Our “Black Knight”, (as we refer to him), William Wallace was named after the legendary renowned Scottish knight and warrior leader Sir William Wallace. Sir William Wallace was one of Scotland’s most famous warrior leaders. He was appointed as Defender and “Guardian of Scotland”. - The history of this legendary Scottish warrior leader was introduced and made famous around the world by the actor Mel Gibson’s portrayal in the Oscar winning movie “Brave Heart” 
• As currently virtually all of our herd William Wallace comes from a very specific, genetically matched line. We achieved exactly what we were looking for when we matched William Wallace's Sire with the dam that we chose. - William Wallace turned out to be not only black in color like his Grand Champion sire but with conformation and appearance that near exactly matches if not supersedes the conformation and appearance of his Grand Champion dad. - 
• From the first days after he was born, we began working with "Sir" William's socializing. By his fourth month, we began his halter and show training. The genetic matching, care, love, nutrition and training paid off as our “Black Knight” won a revered title at the National Western Stock Show. “Knight” William Wallace’s outstanding genetics and appearance in his Bull Calf class has already been recognized by his having been named the 2016 National Western Stock Show’s Reserve Champion Intermediate Bull. We were and are very proud of William Wallace's success.
